I wanted a new pot that I could make my caramel candies and not have it burn on the bottom. This pot is heavy enough and did a great job at the high heat needed. When it reached the correct temperature it poured right out of the pan with nothing sticking. Clean up was a breeze--no soaking or scubbing to get the burnt on candy on the bottom off.
Love it. Will be great for my large quantities of spaghetti sauce and chili that I make and freeze.

 Tumbleweed Pottery Beer Bread Baker
Tumbleweed Pottery Beer Bread Baker
Tumbleweed Pottery Beer Bread Baker : Gourmet and home chefs prefer stoneware for its heat-retentive qualities and this beer bread bowl is the perfect solution for foolproof, high-rising bread. The deep circular shape lets the yeast in the beer create a lofty masterpiece. With the thick stoneware composition, heat rises uniformly, baking all ingredients at the identical temperature. It's fun to experiment and let your imagination decide the main ingredient: dark ales produce a deep robust-flavored bread, while lighter wheat ales create a sweeter taste. Side handles allow balanced control lifting from the oven and inverting onto a cooling rack. Performs best in conventional and convection ovens. Also ideal for baking seasoned dressing or use as a serving dish on the table. Dishwasher-safe. Recipes included. Product Features Deep circular shape and high sides to accommodate rising Natural heat-retentive qualities of stoneware for even baking Dark ales will produce a deep robust flavor Lighter ales such as wheat beers create a sweeter-tasting bread Ideal shape for baking seasoned dressing Attractive as a vegetable or salad serving dish on the table Recipe included

I bought the Tumbleweed beer bowl. The bread looked really great in it. I decided that it will make a great bowl for my gravy on Thanksgiving--making it a more versatile bowl (not just one purpose). But I did notice that there wasnt a recipe for beer bread. Used an old one that I had, but thought you might have a new and improved one. I love the color and plan to use it for many other things. Easy to handle out of the oven and turn out of pan.Extra recipes may be something to add to the product. Now I am hungry-guess I should go make some more bread for lunch!
