I've only used this pizza stone one time so far, but I loved it! The bottom of my pizza came out crisp and clean and not soggy (as it might have on a baking sheet) or charred/striped (as it might have if placed directly on the oven rack per the frozen pizza box instructions). The handles make it easy to put in and take out of the oven. The only downside: I might make (and eat) too many pizzas!

I purchased both sizes. I am finding the smaller one very useful when cooking inside. I have only used it to melt cheese on hamburgers and over fried eggs to cook the whites. Works great! I haven't used the larger one yet, but I expect to use it the next time I grill several burgers on my grill outside.

I have deep fried a handful of turkeys over the years using the traditional outdoor fryer using a big pot over a propane burner. The turkeys were always delicious! I got kind of tired of all the work involved, and inclement weather sometimes caused problems. I haven't fried turkeys these past few years because of those reasons. Last year, my son-in-law, also a fried turkey enthusiast introduced me to an "oil-less" turkey frier, which really isn't anything more than a big electric pot with a heating element that bakes the turkey. Not what I had in mind.
This year I saw the advertisement for the Waring Pro rotisserie deep frier. It seemed almost too good to be true! The only way I would know, though, was to buy one and try it. I deep fried our Thanksgiving turkey yesterday, and it was wonderful! It tasted just like the dangerous ones you must use outside. It could not have been easier! It did take a little different kind of effort to make sure the bird was tied up sufficiently to make sure the wings and legs didn't flop around as it turned on the rotisserie, but that was minor. One of the things I didn't like about the traditional fryer is that it is a single-purpose devise. This Waring Pro advertises that it can be used for deep frying or even boiling or steaming a large quantity of other foods. I haven't tried that yet, but I look forward to the opportunity.
Cleaning up was a bit of a chore since there are a number of parts and bits of parts that get fried crud on them that are a bit time-consuming. But that's all they were, really, time-consuming to clean. I especially liked the built-in drain plug. It made draining the oil a breeze and saved me the effort and anxiety of having to pour 2.5 gallons of oil from a cumbersome container. The position of the drain inside the unit enabled it to drain without draining the burnt bits along with the oil.
This deep-fryer worked like a champ! It was a simple matter of stopping the rotation of the rotisserie and taking the temp of the turkey. You can't do that easily with a traditional fryer. Its built-in timer and temperature control makes frying a turkey as easy as the tv cliche of "set it and forget it!" I peeked under the lid once in a while to make sure that my tying of the wings and legs held up (it did), but other than that, it's super easy -- and you can do it in the comfort of your kitchen on a counter!
This thing wasn't cheap, but I think I will get so much use out of it in the years ahead that it will be well worth it.
If you are thinking about buying one of these, do it! You will be happy with your purchase after you use it.

This is a great grater! I had used box graters all of my life until one I had broke recently (the plastic frame at the top broke, making the box a little flimsy). I never used the other three sides and had always found the box grater a little cumbersome. It was no big deal to scrape grated stuff from inside the box, but why bother with it? With this flat grater, nothing gets stuck, and you can use it either tilted or laying flat over a bowl. Cleans very easily, too. I feel like a kid with a new toy: now I look for things to grate! Love this thing!

I love this frying pan! It's SO BIG! I was able to fry four eggs in it without the whites even touching. And then I seared FIVE regular-size pork chops in it before sticking it in a 350-degree oven to finish cooking. The non-stick finish seems like it will hold up very well to even metal utensils, but I'll need to use it more to come to a verdict about that. I'll probably never get there, though, because I will be using plastic and wood utensils just in case...don't want to risk scratching up my favorite frying pan!

I have another very nice pepper mill that I keep by my stove to use while cooking. Since I really like the flavor of fresh ground pepper, I would move it to the dinner table to use during meals. I would need to wipe off any grease splatters or fingerprints before doing so. I wanted another pepper mill of similar quality that I can keep on the table all the time, clean and ready to for use. This olive wood pepper mill was just the ticket! It's beautiful and very solildly built. It is just the right size for your hands, and the grinding action is precise and reliable (no stray big chunks of peppercorns from loose action like some that I have used). The adjustment mechanism to change the size of the grind works beautifully. If there is any negative, it would be only that there is no finish on the wood. The olive wood is beautiful and smooth enough without a finish, but it would be even more so if it had a thin coating of varnish or polish. I plan to coat mine with some mineral oil to give it a little shine and protect the wood from moisture, but I don't really think it is necessary. You won't be disappointed with the quality or the beauty of this product!

I love knives! I have a whole bunch of them. My kitchen counter has a long line of magnetic knife holders above it. I have at least a dozen chef's knives and about an equal number of other specialty knives. I keep all of them sharp as a razor.
I was expecting this knife to be just another of my collection, but after only one use, I rearranged my knives to make room for this one in the easiest-to-reach position. It keeps its sharp edge through a multitude of uses, is perfectly balanced (it just "feels right" in my hand), and the knuckles of my pudgy hands never hit the cutting board when I rock it cutting vegetables. All knives come with instructions to keep them out of dishwashers because of knicks to the blade and damage to the handles. I usually ignore such warnings because the handles of my other knives are all some kind of synthetic material, and I like sharpening knives so I don't mind knicks (tho I rarely get them because I'm careful about how I place them in the dishwasher). This knife, with its beautiful wooden handle, is one I don't mind giving special treatment. The only downside to this knife is that now I don't need the other dozen that I have! This is now my "go-to" knife! You'll love it!

I couldn't be happier with this purchase. Within the first couple of days of having it, I made hamburgers, sausages, chicken breasts, eggs, and pancakes. Everything came out beautifully! I was a little concerned that there would be hotspots on the griddle plates coz they're a bit thin and light, but nope! Pancakes were perfectly uniform. I love my Griddler! I not only would recommend it to a friend, I went ahead and bought her one!

I ordered this product mostly for checking the temperature of cooked meat. The infrared surface thermometer was more of a curiosity. I don't really see how useful it will be. The thermometer probe, however, is very useful and very accurate (as I've compared its readings to other thermometers). It's worth buying just for that, even if you have no interest in surface temperatures.

I love this thermometer! I have several that I've purchased over the years ranging in price from $5 to $20. I've never really been happy with any of them. They either took too long to register or were not accurate. This Maverick Thermo Professional Instant Read thermometer is both fast and accurate. I balked initially because of its relatively high cost, but I bit the bullet and purchased it because of how dissatisfied I have been with every other type, and I am glad I did. I am delighted with this purchase!
