Jelly Roll Pans=Shallow-lipped baking pans

I kept seeing more and more recipes in my cooking magazines calling for shallow, lipped baking or roasting pans. These fill the bill wonderfully!
Another great use is to line the bottom with paper towel, insert the grid and use them for draining/holding fried foods. I cook alone for my family each Sunday so these are great for those times when I need to fry early and then hold the foods in a warming oven.
The prices for these very pans range from ~$25-$35 with Chefs price being the lowest. I have purchased them as gifts for some of my favorite neighbors who cook.

CHEFS Never-Burn Sauce Pot : With all of today's scientific and technological advances in stainless-steel pots, there had to be a better way to prevent sauces and chowders from overcooking and burning on a stove top. Constructed of a 1.2mm thick outer shell of commercial-grade, mirror-polished 18/8 stainless-steel, and alternating layers of high-quality aluminum and steel on the bottom, this patented 7-layer base eliminates stirring. The real secret to this incredible sauce pot is the hermetically-sealed silicone oil chamber, ensuring burn-free heat distribution. No hot spots, no burning or stirring. Will not scorch thick tomato-based marinara, creamy Alfredo or rich cioppino. With convenient etched interior measurements in quarts/cups, this multi-use CHEFS cookware lets you measure and cook all in one pot. High sides and slightly-domed lid control splatters. Masterfully engineered from concept to design, every convenience for the chef has been integrated into the pot. Tempered glass lid on the never-burn pot includes stainless-steel rim for tight-fitting seal. Vents let steam escape to prevent boilovers. Extra-wide, riveted stainless-steel handle allows a firm grip, even with oven mitts. The squared, heat-resistant solid cast stainless-steel handles on this sauce pot are intuitively engineered for safe grip and easier lifting, even with oven mitts. Handles are double-riveted for strength and durability. The never-burn pot is a first in proficiency in the cookware industry. Suitable for all cooktops, including induction. Dishwasher-safe. Doesn't Burn or Scorch

This pot lives up to its claims of not burning. I have used it to make gumbo and chili without any scorching. That was almost impossible in my Multi-pot.
Both of my dishes contained some flour for thickening so stirring is still required as it would be in an "old-fashioned" pot.
I haven't tried it yet on my induction "burner" but as the exterior is magnetic I expect it will work well. I'm a little puzzled the ad doesn't mention this potential capability.

I used my waffle grids for the first time last Sunday. The waffles were uniform and excellent. Despite the instructions to lightly oil them for each batch, I learned it wasn't necessary.
Being an empty-nester I have downsized my home and kitchen so it is nice to make an existing appliance multi-tasking instead of trying to store a single purpose unit like a waffle iron.
