I enjoy baking my own bread and have tried other bread knives for slicing. There was always some pull and effort involved, but this knife, which I used for the first time yesterday, cut through the bread as if it was butter! My slices were more uniform and straighter, and the task was accomplished quickly. This is now the knife I'll pull out when it comes to slicing bread (and other foods). I'm extremely pleased.
