The construction of this boat is beautiful. Everything they say about it is accurate. However, I am not sure if it can be used directly on the stove top even with a diffuser. It would be nice if they said this one way or the other. Nice size. Very heavy construction.

I own a few corn strippers. Originally coming from the midwest, I love fresh corn but prefer not to eat it off the cob. This is the best stripper by far. It is easy to hold, strips about 4 rows at a time and is VERY sharp. Nice blade guard that is not shown in the picture.

I own probably 20 Wusthof classic knives including the bird beak, serrated, small boning, and standard paring knives. This knife is perfect. The serrations are very small and just exactly where you want them -- close to working grip. The whole knife is very sharp and construction and weight is what you expect from Wusthof --perfect. CHEFS delivers on time and the description is exactly correct.
