Breville Panini Duo, BSG520XL : Ribbed top plate gives the authentic toasted-grilled texture that makes an ordinary sandwich taste extraordinaire. Powerful 1,500-watt unit with large cooking surface heats up quickly and maintains a consistent temperature to cook several panini in minutes. Smooth bottom plate with Quantanium-coated surface provides easy cleanup of melted ingredients and adds the versatility of cooking eggs, sausages or French toast without the use of butter. With Breville's four adjustable height settings, you can toast thick sandwiches without sacrificing ingredients or easily open fry/grill. By adjusting the height, you can reduce the weight of the top plate to prevent toppings from being pressed out of sandwiches. Features power-on and ready lights. Brushed stainless-steel exterior. my wife was a skeptic when i informed her of my purchase - too much work, she says. and, where do we store it. well, a skeptic no more. we have used it three times and she loves the results! a local market prepares and makes the best paninis but, they were always cold by the time we arrived home - takes away from the great sandwich a bit. finally the solution - pick them up cold and finish them at home - same great sandwich as eating one there. and, there were some great recipes for my own creation that came with my new grill. i would recommend this great grill to any sandwich lover.
