All the little "feet" on the underside of this board keep it from slipping and sliding on our countertops. Perfect!

Wusthof Gourmet Chef's Knife : The must-have multipurpose blade for every kitchen, long enough to slice through large melons, hard-shell squash, or roast meats. Slightly curved for cutting, slicing, or mincing smaller veggies or fruits. About Wusthof Gourmet: A precision-stamped blade of high-carbon stainless steel that sharpens easily and holds its edge. Compression rivets securely attach the high-impact handles to the full tang for superior balance and maneuverability. Dishwasher safe, but hand washing is recommended. Made in Solingen, Germany.

These knives were such a surprise. I had no idea how much easier it would be to chop veggies with these knives. My wrists had been complaining a bit with my old knives, but these knives slice through easily.
