When someone told me about a "butter bell", I thought it sounded like a completely useless item that no one would ever need - assuming it even worked. However I bought it as a gift for a friend who wanted one. I'm a total convert now! It works beautifully! The packed butter stays right in place without sliding and the water seal keeps it fresh without getting the butter wet.
I chose the Le Creuset model because I know their products are good quality and sturdy. The cobalt one I chose is a rich blue with a slight shade gradient that adds depth. Other products I looked at online were plain or seemed to be lower quality. This one is a little more expensive, but totally worth the money I spent.
Perfectly spreadable butter in an attractive little container that adds visual pop to your counter or table. You'll be pleased if you buy this!
