I saw this pastry board about a year ago in the catalog and it seemed like it would be a secure surface to roll out pastry dough instead of having one that slips around on the countertop. I've only had it about 2 weeks and I was right, it stays in place and it makes rolling out any pastry so much easier because it doesn't move. It is heavy and I'm thinking I need to find a place to store it between uses. Its size markings are a great reference along with the ruler at the top.
