 Emile Henry Flame Pizza Stone
Emile Henry Flame Pizza Stone
Emile Henry Flame Pizza Stone : The Emile Henry Flame Pizza Stone superbly cooks brick oven style pizzas in home ovens and on outdoor grills. Innovative proprietary Flame technology allows the stone to work directly on gas, charcoal, natural wood or electric grill cooking surfaces up to 750 F. The 14" ceramic round stone goes in conventional and convection ovens and under the broiler and fits a standard 25 1/2" round grill. The Emile Henry pizza stone absorbs moisture from the pizza dough while distributing heat evenly throughout the pizza so the pie doesn't burn on the bottom before the toppings have cooked. A special micro-crazed glazing ensures crispy well-baked crusts, and unlike other pizza stones, this one leaves no food, stains or odors. You can cut pizzas right on the stone without damaging the surface. The Emile Henry pizza stone heats up in about 15 minutes compared to nearly an hour on some stones. Lightweight with large handles for easy carrying, the stone is naturally nonstick and dishwasher-safe. Founded in 1850 by the Henry family in France's mineral-rich burgundy clay region, today Emile Henry is the largest manufacturer of ceramic ovenware in France. The Flame process is a proprietary manufacturing process that is more resistant to thermal shock, mechanical shock or chipping and crazing than other ceramic products, including porcelain, stoneware and earthenware. Product Features Innovative Flame ceramic technology allows for high-heat cooking up to 750 F 14" round pizza stone works in all oven types including conventional, convection and microwave Ceramic stone turns all barbeque grills into an outdoor pizza oven The stone absorbs moistures from pizzas to ensure crispy well-baked crusts Evenly distributing heat, the stone heats up faster and keeps hot longer than ordinary stones Footed base provides more even heat diffusion Lightweight stone is 30% lighter than similar cast-iron pans Cutting directly on the stone does not damage the surface Large handles make for easy lifting and carrying Naturally nonstick stone does not absorb stains and odors Easy-clean stone is also freezer- and dishwasher-safe Manufactured in France from Burgundy clay and other natural products 2-year limited warranty Imported from France

i have not used this stone yet, but i love baking stones and cook most everything on them in the oven. i am looking forward to the ease in cleaning this one as things stick to the traditional ones. it looks a little small compared to my old one,but i guess our pizzas will just have to be smaller. i love the handles as it will be easier to remove from the oven

I made oven fries the night this pan arrived. The whole family said they were the best ever. My one year old hates fries and gobbled these right up. My mom said she likes these oven fries better than the real thing. This pan is a keeper. And my husband, who never eats all his potatoes, at his portion and the extra ones that were left in the pan!
