My Cooking Level:Advanced
The chopper is an almost everyday kitchen tool for me. So when my old one ( different brand) broke, I needed to find a replacement quickly. I went to Chefs site because I'd been so happy with previous orders thru them. This chopper had gotten good reviews from others, so I tried it. I've used it for several weeks now and it's been great. Very sturdy blades and casing. Chops the veggies well ( particularly happy with how it chops peppers - cuts them well even if they're not perfectly crisp). Also easy to clean. Good looking- for what that's worth.

At the risk of sounding like a total geek, I was almost inconsolable when my 50 year old stainless steel electric skillet died. I refuse to use a non- stick coated pan, which is all that seems to be available in stores. My frantic search led me to the Cucina Pro on Chef's online catalog. It took me 10 minutes to click 'purchase now', because I tend to be very skeptical when I can't see it in person. It arrived very quickly, well packaged. I opened it,& cooked dinner with it that night. I love it. (Despite my family teasing me for being so happy about a pan). I probably could've gotten away w/ the 12" skillet - the 16" is quite big - but now that I have the extra pan space, I wouldn't trade down. Great heat distribution & easy to clean!
