I have smaller hands and found the longer blade chefs knife to be a little cumbersome to use and was delighted to find the 6 inch blade in my favorite brand. I liked it so well I bought 3 more for gifts!

I was looking for a skillet with a lid that could also be used under the broiler (lid-less of course) and this fit the bill. The skillet works very well for sautees, browning meat, slow cooking on top of the stove (swiss steak, etc.) and in the oven... a pleasure to use and easy to clean. I am sad to see this color is being discontinued (cobalt).
