Wusthof Classic Ikon 5-in. Serrated Utility Knife : Each knife in Wusthof's new Classic Ikon line is forged from a single piece of steel. The laser-tested blade is 30% sharper and holds an edge 30% better than the average blade - the sharpest Wusthof knife ever made. Precision forward bolster allows full usage of the blade when cutting and sharpening; second bolster on the heel provides additional heft to the handle and stainless beauty on the end of the knife, embossed with the Wusthof logo. Stainless-steel triple rivets permanently secure the handle to the tang of the knife. The contoured shape is unique for an elegant appearance, as well as superb ergonomic comfort. Easy to use and easy to sharpen, this workhorse knife is a must-have for everyday kitchen tasks. 5".

I had to replace my favorite knife and looked long and hard for the perfect one. The Wusthof Classic Ikon 5-in. serrated utility knife is good quality, nicely weighted and comfortable in my hand, and, above all, it is sharp. It cuts hard and soft fruits and vegetables with ease. I am glad to have it, and will use it for a long time, since it has a lifetime warranty! Very pleased with this purchase.

I love this saucepan. Not only is the cassis color beautiful, the saucepan is a workhorse. It is heavy and substantial and warms slowly to an even temperature, the long handle is balancing, and there is a steam hole in the lid that helps prevent boil-overs. The size is perfect for one or two people. I have already used this saucepan at least once every day in the short time that I have had it. It's great for warming leftovers, boiling a couple of eggs, cooking a package of frozen vegetables; I could go on and on. I am replacing my 1960-s set of Le Creuset from France one piece at a time, and I fall in love with every piece all over again. This is quality cookware.

I was given a set of Flame Le Creuset as a wedding present in 1968, and I still use it daily. I wanted to replace a few pieces and started with the 5.5-Qt. French Oven. I use this for almost everything: pot roasts, spaghetti sauce, roast chicken, soup. It is very versatile as well as attractive. I chose cassis because it is a subdued color and gives a soothing feeling to my kitchen. I plan to purchase many more pieces in the same color, and I have a list. My only disappointment is that the 6-in frypan is not made in the cassis color. That little frypan is a hard worker!
