I purchased this knife several weeks ago to replace several cheap paring knives that I've had for years. The reason that I'm having a love/hate relationship with this knife is that I cut my finger the first time I used it. Not on the edge of the blade, but the point of the blade which nicked my index finger. That's the hate part-and my own fault. The love part is that it's one of the best knives I've ever used. It's like using a straight razor with a needle on the tip of the blade-so you have to be extremely careful when using it. The weight, balance and sharpness of this knife are exceptional.
