Forged in Italy of heavy-gauge aluminum for lasting durability and exceptional heat distribution, the nonstick sauce pan features a metallic black porcelain-enamel exterior that resists chips and cracks and maintains a beautiful finish. Pros: Good looking, even cooking, no exposed aluminum, even around the rim. Just the right amount of thermal mass.
Cons: Lids fit poorly - on these "premium" pans; inexcusable! No pour spout - that I can live with. Flat smooth bottom lets them slide around on the stove when stirring, turning that process into a two handed affair.
I'll likely look elsewhere to complete my set of cookware if they can't even make a lid that fits.
Haven't had them long enough yet to know how scratch resistant and how well they retain their non-stick quality. So far so good.
