I purchased this for my son who has several Henckels knives in his kitchen. In addition to the sharpening steel, he needed an electric knife sharpener to add a new edge to his knives if the steel didn't do it anymore.
I like the fact that it has one area to put a new edge or bevel on the knife and then the 2 smoothing blades to further hone the knife.
It stores easily in a box and the rubber stoppers on the bottom of the sharpener prevent the sharpener from shifting on a kitchen counter during the honing process.

I purchased the small and medium versions of this chopping board and love love them!! They do not slip on the countertop and make for easy clean up either in the sink or dishwasher. I like the easy way the food goes into the pan or bowl that you are using. I also like the reasonable price for both too.

The angled cutting surface of this cleverly designed
chopping board reserves liquids; once contained in the
corner, they can be easily poured into a bowl. The
double-sided board has a meat grip on one side for ease
of carving and manufactured from high-density
polyethylene. Polyethylene has abrasion resistance and
self-lubricating properties which means that bacteria
find it difficult to breed and knives stay sharp longer.

I purchased the black version of this cutting board and have used it for roast beef and the Thanksgiving turkey breast. The design of the board keeps the juices from spilling onto the counter with previous cutting boards that didn't have a deep enough ridge in them. The board cleans up well with soap and water and stores neatly alongside my pots in the kitchen cabinet. I love the angled design of this board.

Sent this to my sister-in-law in England as she could not find a cast iron cornbread pan over there. She was quite surprised to receive it as a Christmas gift. She says it makes terrific cornbread and the nonstick surface is easy to clean after wards.
She especially likes the fact that Lodge is made in the USA and not abroad.
