When i received my new Shun knives, I knew I should do everything I could to keep them perfect; so I ordered the medium size Epicurean cutting board. The size is perfect. It holds everything I need to chop, plus it fits nicely into my cookie sheet cabinet. it's lightweight enough to pick it up to put your chopped food into the pan on the oven, too. I also like the indention around the board to catch water/liquid from whatever I am cutting. My knives haven't dulled at all while using this board either. It's a good purchase!

Whatever you decide to make a slice through, this knife will glide through it with ease. It's perfectly balanced and sturdy to the grip. This is the third Shun knife in my collection, and I plan on more Shun purchases.
