The weight of the pieces are light enough to use easily in the kitchen but sturdy enough that I don't have to treat them so delicately. The plates are wide and flat. The cups are deep and wide. The cream matched all the items in my kitchen and made a neutral addition to my green color scheme.

My mom bought this for me for my birthday. I'd never used one before, so I was nervous. She told me to start with something easy, like boxed brownies, or icing. I started with an icing and was squeeling with baker's-glee when I saw how smooth it turned out. It was gorgeous and the texture was as smooth as silk. The true test came when my 15 year old son with special needs said he wanted to make brownies. He can barely boil water, let alone bake brownies, but I let him give it a whirl with the KitchenAid, and Voila!....easy as pie. He now makes us brownies all the time with the KitchenAid and this boosts his confidence. Buy this for yourself or a very special relative. Husbands, if you're reading this, you can't go wrong with this purchase.

I bought these storage containers for my sister. She loves the handle and the pour spout. She specifically mentioned that the ability to drop the whole bag into the container simplified the process of getting the flour ready use in her cooking. I wanted to know how durable the plastic was, and she said it was nice and thick. This is really important because if the plastic is too thin, it will crack easily with age. I don't think this will be a problem with this product considering her description. I suggest buying these for a daughter-in-law to help her organize. The only issue that would cause me a slight problem, is that the handle takes up valuable space in my tiny condo. I need my containers as condensed as possible. Buy these for someone with a pantry or adequate cupboard space.

These canisters are made of very sturdy material, so I don't worry about cracking them. The lids have this press-down button that seals the lid on after each use, and that makes it easier to keep my flours and sugars fresh and light. Also, I am less worried about one of my kids knocking them over and spilling their contents, because if you've pressed the button, its on tightly. I LOVE these canisters. I highly recommend this product if you want a clean, orderly, condensed storage space and you want quick and easy access to your cooking/baking ingredients.
