 Cuisinart CleanWater 2-Gallon Countertop Filtration
System, WCH-1500
Cuisinart CleanWater 2-Gallon Countertop Filtration System, WCH-1500
Cuisinart CleanWater 2-Gallon Countertop Filtration System, WCH-1500 : The Cuisinart CleanWater Countertop Filtration System is better than bottled water because it reduces contaminants that may alter water's taste and purity. It reduces the potentially harmful contaminants found in ordinary tap water: lead, mercury, chlorine and more. Filtration system purifies water drawn from your faucet and saves the expense of bottled water and the waste of plastics. You'll taste the difference from tap water immediately. Unlike cumbersome floor models, the Clean Water system fits on a kitchen countertop, in a living room or office. The 2-gallon system with 2 spigots features 3 temperature-button selections: room temperature, cold or hot water dispensing for instant tea, coffee or hot cereal. Internal water tanks store hot water separately from the cold water. For safety, the hot button features a manual locking mechanism. Energy-saving switch lets you turn off the heating function and save up to 50% energy usage. When the Green LED light is on, you will know that the hot water function is off. This unit is equipped with an LED light indicator to show when water is purified and ready to drink. The lid also features a 12-week timer to alert you when it's time to change the filter, so you won't have to manually track the time elapsed between filter changes. Clean Water system ensures fresh filtered water for drinking and meal preparation. WQA (Water Quality Association) approved, tested and certified. Water tank removes easily for refilling. Brushed silvertone plastic exterior wipes clean. Replacement filter sold separately, item 24231. GF-80 filter reduces these contaminants: Lead 98.7% Chlorine (taste and odor) 97.5% Mercury 92.8% Benzene 84.1% Cadmium 96.6% Copper 85.0% Tetrachloroethylene 92.5% Toluene 89.8% Product Features Dispenses refreshingly clean cold water (44 degrees F), hot water (194 degrees F) or water at room temperature for brewing, drinking or meal preparation Each water option operates with a separate button Fits compactly on a kitchen countertop WQA-approved filtration system provides healthier, great-tasting water Economical water purifier eliminates bottled water Environmentally-friendly to eliminate plastic bottles Divided tank for unfiltered and filtered water Blue/red LED indicates when filtered water is ready Energy-saving switch enables you to turn off the heating function when not in use and reduce energy usage by more than 50% Green LED lights up when hot water is off Hot button features child safety lock Includes separate internal water tanks for hot and cold water storage Flip-top lid allows easy refilling 12-week filter timer alerts you when its time to change the filter Filter included Filter life is 80 gallons or 3-4 months' average household use Designed by Cuisinart, leading manufacturer of appliance products

I received this item as a gift ,and am very pleased with it. I love the stainless steel. I also like the fact that I can not only have cold drinking water, but I can also have room temperature to water my plants in my office, and can have hot water for my morning tea. I think that the constrution of the item is solid and expect to be able to use this product for many years. I am very pleased with this product and would recommend it to others.

This product is wonderful. I bought this pressure cooker for my father for Christmas last year. My father is getting up in age, and he loves to cook with a pressure cooker. The one he had preciously was very old (older than me), and he had to get up and down constantly over the course of the cook time in order to monitor the pressure etc.
He absolutely loves this new pressure cooker, he sets it and forgets about it. No getting up and down to check the pressure, or to avert potential crisis etc. What is also great about this pressure cooker is that it is extremely quiet. I have visited my parents many times, smelled the food cooking, but never heard a peep from the pressure cooker. I would recommend this pressure cooker to anyone looking for a quick and simple way to prepare food that is healthy and tasty!
