We purchased the large peel and it's very large, durable, and the perfect sized handle for regular kitchen sizes. It hangs on the wall and out of the way when not in use. Make sure you sprinkle it with cornmeal or flour to help the dough slide off the peel.

Wow, the quality of this product is exceptional! Very durable yet light weight. It would be great if they offered the same item but it held 4 or even 6 loaves at a time for those who bake lots of bread. If you left some empty during baking, it wouldn't hurt anything, yet if making lots of loaves, it would be the easiest way to handle them. We wil definitely need another one.

This really is a terrific product for storing your Kosher or sea salt. The little spoon it comes with holds 1/2 tsp (shaken to level, and on average). I love it that I don't have to hunt the cabinet for the salt anymore. It would be nice if it came in assorted colors though. One for Kosher salt, one for sea salt, etc.

This is such a simple design with 100% efficiency that I don't know why I didn't get one long ago. Be sure to cut across the wood, rather than into the slats for nice, uniform slices.

I've been wanting a bacon press for a long time now, and when I saw this one from Lodge, round (to fit the fry pans), and the handle (stays cool and not made of wood), I knew this is the one I wanted! It's nice and heavy and fits my skillets and frypans easily. My bacon is crisp and ready to crumble on salads, My pork chops don't curl up anymore, and my tortillas turn out perfect! I just add a few drops of olive oil, a sprinkle of seasonings, and place them in the skillet, and use the press to sear the flavors into the bread. :)
