My 1st knife set

My wife and I received these knives as a wedding gift. I do most of the cooking and this was my first "real" set of knives. I previously worked from my hodge-podge collection of bachelor's-grade cutlery. Most of which was hand-me-downs.
These knives are remarkably sharper then what I was previously used to. For the first time I felt like I had the tools to prepare meals similar to what I would see on a cooking show. They hold an edge quite well. I received a Wustoff Ikon sharpener this Christmas and gave the knives their first real sharpening, about 14 months after first using them. Most only required a light honing of the blade. I am thrilled with this set and added a butcher's knife to the block along with the steak knives. No more serrated knives to tear my meat apart! Highly recommended to anybody looking to make a kitchen investment that will pay off for years to come.
